I am on research leave from Gallaudet University until December 2016. I am spending my time as a Visiting Scholar at the University of New Mexico (Sign Language Interpreting Program, Department of Linguistics) where I am writing a monograph on the bioethics and the signing Deaf Community, as well as a set of articles on the philosophy of signed language interpreting ethics. I also will be visiting scholar at the Center for Values and Social Policy at University of Colorado for a short time during Spring semester 2016, and at the Hastings Center during September 2016.
